Insomnia - It's time to say Good Night

By Christian Goodman

About as many people suffer from insomnia as suffer from obesity. That's one third of American adults.

Some people suffer from transient insomina. This is a fairly non serious form that is caused by changes to our normal routine. Traveling brings this on for a number of people.

Then there are cases in which people suffer for weeks on end. Recovering from a broken bone can certainly create a problem with falling asleep or staying asleep. Other injuries can also make sleeping incredibly difficult.

Still worse is chronic insomnia.

People afflicted with this type of insomnia may go for months or years without knowing a restful night's sleep. The reasons behind this normally stem from psychilogical issues.

Medications to get us to sleep seem to be everywhere. Just about any late night television advertisement lets us know how easy we can get to 'dream land.'

Read on though, and the side effects you see listed may not make that option quite so appealing afterall.

Creating a dark, cool and relaxing environment can make the sleep process a little less alusive.

Our ears can be helpful in courting sleep too. Studies document that the sound we sleep too is related to the depth of sleep we attain.

The alpha brain waves allow us to slow down and seduce sleep. There are sounds and music designed to create exactly that scenario. Our bodies are allowed to relax and drift off.

My new insomnia program has been extremely effective in finally allowing people to get the rest they need and desire. In fact over 76% report good improvement.

Watch for more information on this program on my blog.
